Duration of the contract, 18 weeks of deliveries over our summer and fall growing season. 2 days per week.(wed & thurs)

Our farm is seeking a motivated team player to fill the delivery driver position for our CSA veggie and flower delivery service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of CSA vegetable boxes and flowers., The driver is responsible for loading the van and discussing and integrating weekly adjustments to the route, Often our driver gets to meet our members during their drive, it is very important that we always present with exceptional customer service and a good attitude.
This is a fast-paced and demanding delivery job.
Qualifications:

Clean drivers abstract.

Knowledge of Whistler and the sea to sky is a bonus,

Previous delivery experience is an asset.

Role responsibilities
-
Responsible for organizing and optimizing the csa delivery route.
-
Responsible for adjusting the weekly Route as members go on vacation, change addresses etc.

Packing van and delivering csa veggie boxes and bouquets and any restaurant orders in a timely fashion with care to the quality and delicate nature of the products delivered.

Responsible to keeping track (via a list) of returned bins weekly & throughout the season.

Unloading Van once route is complete.

Responsible for vehicle safety checks, keeping fluids checked and at appropriate levels. Filling delivery van with diesel before or after the route.

Delivering exceptional customer service to our awesome CSA members
This job is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys driving, is capable of adapting to the changing needs of our route and is capable of executing an efficient pace throughout the day to ensure time is managed and deliveries are made within the set window.
Daily 80-100 boxes need to be dropped to the same addresses each week.
Starting wage $22-25 hourly depending on experience. with vehicle and fuel provided.
A share of our vegetable Csa is included as a bonus to the wage. Value $620

Farmers market sales assistants
Laughing Crow Organics is a certified organic vegetable and flower farm in Pemberton BC. We grow a diversity of seasonal veggies and take pride in supplying our community with high-quality fresh organic produce from the farm. We have been attending the Squamish and Whistler farmer’s markets for over 10 years, and take pride in the strong relationships we have built with our customers and community.
The role:
We are looking for energetic and positive people to help with one or both of our farmer's markets in Squamish and Whistler. Ideal candidates love food, are passionate about local agriculture and community, and are capable of delivering exceptional customer service.

Tasks include:

Market unload, set up and take down of display and stall

Restocking and maintaining the quality of display and produce with food safety in mind.

Serve customers, and weigh items at checkout while carrying out cash and credit transactions with efficiency and accuracy.

Wage: $19hr plus a daily veggie stipend($25) + 20% discount on extra veggies over and above the stipend. There are plenty more vegetables available at the end of the market that will not carry over to another sales stream that can be taken home as well.

Full-Time Field Crew Position: Filled for 2024
Dates of employment: Beginning of May to Mid/End of October (weather dependent)

The farm grows vegetables for two Farmers' Markets, 200+ CSA Members a farmstand and two agri tourism ventures (sunflower maze and U-Pick pumpkins) ​

As a small, hard-working team of 4 to 5 people, we all participate in nearly every aspect of what it takes to run a 10-acre mixed vegetable farm. This means that throughout the season daily tasks are diverse and may include any combination of:

Full-time Harvest and labor crew mid season:
This role starts in mid-June and extends to October, with official dates somewhat dependent on the seasons growing and harvest.
Your role on the farm: through spring, we have been busy building and planting the season's intended harvest and as things get growing we start to need more hands for the harvest and maintenance of the farm while it is at its fullest.
The role is based around each week's harvests and you will be part of a dynamic hardworking team of harvest ninjas, harvesting and packing over 40 different vegetable crops for our CSA, farmers markets, and road stand. Other jobs can include but are not limited to, Transplanting, hand weeding, greenhouse pruning, wash and pack post-harvest processing. CSA packing, veggie, and bin washing. As the season changes so do the roles and harvests, if you are a motivated person who enjoys a fast pace work environment that asks for efficiency, speed, problem-solving and occasionally multitasking we think you will enjoy and thrive in this position. We take pride in growing the highest quality of veggies and enjoy sharing the process with our team.
